A large swimming pool was installed with hardwood frame introducing a different texture and tone while breaking up the large amount of pale marble paving. Wide grass steps were designed leading down to the pool area. This area will be fantastic in the summer for the whole family and their friends to enjoy outdoor living.
Lucy designed the kitchen garden with various raised beds and a large mature Olive tree as a focal point which is uplit at night providing a stunning view from the house. This area of the garden looks out on a bank of ornamental grasses which sway in the wind and catch the evening sunlight. They also look spectacular dusted in frost through the winter months. Combined with Alliums they introduce Piet Oudolf style planting which Lucy admires.
The garden has a great deal of Buxus hedging giving a smart, contemporary appearance all year round. Lucy designed planting around the house to provide year round structure and colour giving beautiful views from the master bedroom balcony.

Garden to link new extentions, Warwickshire
This garden design was required to link the three new buildings built by Rajkowski Architecture & Building. It needed to make full use of the views and there were also several level changes to use to our advantage.
The main patio and entertaining area was positioned near the Games Room to enjoy the view, from here one can walk down through fragrant planting to the new Bungalow. Raised beds and integral seat make full use of the level changes. The garden design creates several 'rooms' to enjoy and take in the views of the countryside and beautiful new buildings. | ![]() |
A courtyard area was part of the design providing plenty of space and ease of access to the new Garages. Planting is used to soften the hard landscping and draws the eye through to the main garden areas. A new driveway layout was also designed to achieve improved movement of cars and guests.
The garden is currently under construction so look out for new images as the project progresses.

Armscote Grange, Armscote
Lucy designed the garden for a stunning new 5 bedroom oak framed country house located just outside the village of Armscote, 7 miles South of Stratford upon Avon.
The large patio areas lead off the contemporary orangery extending the luxurious home outdoors and provide ample space for entertaining.
| Pale travertine paving blends the interior and exterior schemes. The large dining area is framed by low box hedging, which will provide year round structure, and a raised bed with architectural planting. Four large Hornbeam cubes frame the route to the remainder of the garden and introduce structure on a large scale to compliment the substantial property. Ornamental grasses give movement and sound to the outdoor space and work well with the tones of the contemporary interior style.
