Lucy writes a monthly column for The Image magazine providing advice on garden maintenance and how to reinvent your outdoor space. It's been a busy year for Lucy Bravington who set up her garden design business a year ago and hasn’t looked back since! Lucy studied garden design at Pershore College and was inhouse designer for a well known local landscaper for two years, before she decided to go it alone. With a degree in Business Commerce she also had the knowledge required to set up and run her own business...

Garden Design Journal, December 2009
Lucy wrote an article for the Society of Garden Designers (SGD) magazine VITIS 44 in the December issue of the Garden Design Journal. She reviewed the SGD Autumn Conference held at Imperial College, London. The fantastic conference proved truely inspirational to Lucy.
'Heavenly Gardens in Hellish Places' was a brilliantly chosen topic and lead to some very interesting projects being presented and discussed. Lisa Delplace talked of "Healing the Earth" while Declan Buckley and Nigel Dunnett discussed restoring habitats and introducing urban meadows. Lucy found Anthony Paul's talk particularly inspirational and admired his contemporary elegant designs.

Warwickshire Living Magazine, November 2009
Lucy donated a Garden Design to a charity event for NSPCC Childline in August. The garden party proved a very successful day and her donation to the auction was very popular raising money for the NSPCC.

Free Garden Design Consultancy at Stalls
Lucy held free Garden Design Consultancy days at Stalls in the summer 2009, offering advice and ideas for those wishing to transform their garden. It gave people the opportunity to peruse Lucys portfolio of design work and have a chat about what they were looking to achieve with their outdoor space.
The days proved very popular and will be held again soon, so look out in the local press for her next consultancy days!!
