It was great to have the opportunity to redesign the whole garden at this property in Claverdon following a large house renovation and extension.  The garden wrapped around the house so Lucy designed a scheme of several areas for different uses and times of the day.

Lucy designed large entertaining areas off the new kitchen orangery, complete with London Plane trees in parasol form.  These provide vertical interest, some shade and drama to the main dining area.  Off this space there is a sun deck, large lawn area for a marquee and a arch walkway to another seating area.  This space may be developed into an outdoor kitchen in the future but provides a chill-out 'lounge' space for now.

The front garden is softer than the rear with more curves and cottage style planting.  The pathway guides you through fragrance and colour...while the pleached trees frame the driveway and parking.

The garden has a lot of structure and planting to provide year round interest, so should just get better and better over the years!
