This garden was so overgrown when Lucy was instructed to redesign the space, so the transformation was really exciting!  Lucy's client had just moved into the property and wanted to make it her own.

Lucy designed the garden to be low maintenance, with a large patio space off the house for entertaining and enjoying the sunshine.  The existing tree was retained and ornamental grasses and perennial plants were added for texture and colour.  The stepping stones through the cobbles and planting created a fun journey through to the second seating area.  This seating area is framed by pleached trees to provide privacy, height and maturity to the garden.  

The garden is split into 3 zones and provides 2 new outdoor rooms to enjoy and extend the property's living space outdoors.  Lighting adds further drama in the evening and the garden can be enjoyed all year round, even on a winter evening viewed through the french doors.
