Lucy was commissioned to create a striking garden design for this large property in Lighthorne, Warwickshire. The brief was clear—no curves—so the design centred on strong, linear geometry, giving the scheme a bold and timeless structure that perfectly complements the architecture of the home.

The garden was designed to include multiple outdoor living spaces, from extensive entertaining areas to a swimming pool terrace, kitchen garden, and a formal knot garden. Thoughtful transition zones connect each of these areas, ensuring the garden flows seamlessly and can be enjoyed as one cohesive space.

Planting was kept formal and structured, with generous use of box hedging to frame pathways and enhance the rendered walls of the property. Repetition of clean lines and symmetry creates rhythm throughout the design, with striking details such as spearmint stripes running through the paving and wide grass steps leading elegantly down to the pool terrace.
