Lucy and her team were delighted to receive a GOLD medal and the coveted Best Construction Award for the Liz Earle Beauty Co.'s Botanical Show Garden at BBC Gardeners' World Live 2023.
Lucy designed the space to be a peaceful oasis showcasing the botanical ingredients featured in Liz Earle Beauty Co. products.
A central water rill flowed through the space, falling into a pool at the garden entrance, simulating the 'cleansing' aspect of the products.
The garden's polished sculpture and pebble seats pay homage to the iconic 'Cleanse and Polish' product. At the centre lies a shell-shaped sculpture representing the brand's coastal home and the Fibonacci spiral, symbolizing the products' science-backed efficacy. The garden's delicate balance of light and shadow evokes nature's beauty, while the perennial plants and sculptures inspire visitors to connect with nature's transformative power.
