After just over four years, I’m finally back with a blog post! A lot has happened since I last wrote here-both personal and professional, and I’m excited to share the highlights with you over the coming weeks.

The Post-Lockdown Garden Boom
Since the Covid lockdowns, the landscaping and garden design industry has seen an extraordinary surge in demand. Being confined to our homes gave many people a renewed appreciation for their outdoor spaces — as places for relaxation, connection, and emotional well-being.
Instead of holidays or short-term luxuries, homeowners began to see garden design as a long-term investment in their quality of life.
As a result, enquiries for bespoke garden design skyrocketed. I maintained a six-month waiting list for over three years, and only in August 2023 did things settle back to a more manageable lead time of around 8–10 weeks.
