This garden in Warwick was a real blank canvas when Lucy was commissioned to provide a garden design. Lucy knew her clients were after a cool outdoor space to extend their recently renovated property complete with stylish contemporary kitchen. The large level change from the bi-fold doors to the rear gate allowed for a raised deck overlooking a granite patio area. The beech hedge which cuts through the last third of the garden is intended to partially screen and soften a garden office which is to be added at a later date. The deck band within this zone brings some warmth through the garden and mimics the upper decked level.
Planting was minimal but striking, using pleached Beech and box hedging below to frame them. Some climbers were also included around the decking to add colour and fragrance. This garden will be a fabulous place to party!
